Health Insurance: Health insurance is optional. You may be able to purchase it in your country or you may use www.hginsurance.com. If you get sick you will pay a lot of money for doctor or hospital visits. All students are advised that Conversa does not assume responsibility for any injury or accident which may arise in connection with student activities whether connected with education, housing or otherwise.
Certificate of Achievement: Students will obtain a certificate of achievement after satisfactory completion of their current level and obtaining 85% on the Conversa Level Exam.
Certificate of Attendance: Students will obtain a certificate of attendance after attending every day classes of the current monthly session.

* Price does not include meals. Students must purchase and prepare their food. A supermarket is 200 meters from the house. If the Conversa House and Conversa Manor are full, temporary housing may be provided in an apartment. Costs for apartments vary depending on the student’s length of stay in Cincinnati.

2 There is a limited number of American host families available, so apply at least six weeks before you plan to attend. There may be two students placed per family. Students may need to take a bus to get to and from classes.
To reserve a room at the Conversa House, Conversa Manor, or host family, you must send a $200 deposit 30 days in advance.
Payment Procedure: Payment may be made by cash, traveler’s check or wired to our bank. We also accept credit cards but there is a 4% service charge added to the total. For bank wire transfers, please contact us so we can send you the bank account information.
